5.4 Manual spindle pumps
 





In manual spindle pumps the hydraulic or pneumatic piston drive is replaced by a handwheel. Depending on the target pressure and desired flow rate, the high-pressure piston is driven with a threaded spindle designed for this purpose. Manual spindle pumps are suitable for relatively small high-pressure volumes and static applications. The manual spindle pumps have a displacement display. This makes it possible to determine the volumetric displacement very precisely via the known spindle pitch. Basically all components are made of stainless steel.
